Domestic Violence Crisis
We just spoke with a woman that is dealing with a multitude of pain and trauma! She is in the middle of going through a domestic violence situation and has learned that her husband hasn't paid a bill for over a year. Because of their family dynamic the children are also dealing with so much trauma and one of them tried to commit suicide at school this week. The garbage bill hasn't been paid and is piling up against the house, and her cell phone is going to be shut off at the end of the day. This woman has the weight of the world on her shoulders and needs help!! After speaking with her, the cell phone bill is the most critical right now. This phone is so important because she has applied for jobs, but if her cell phone is disconnected, she will have no way to communicate with any protentional employment. This cell phone is her lifeline to so many other things as well. She needs to be able to communicate with the school regarding her kids and their mental health. Being able to keep her phone on will help her have peace of mind that she still has a tool to help get her back on her feet. She wants a job, she wants to be able to help her suffering children, and she wants to be able to pay her bills! Here is the breakdown of what is owed today.
