Disabled Young Adult Needing Help with Mental Health

I am working with a young adult that is a domestic violence survivor that has experienced repeated abuse and trauma. She would like to try meditation as a form of therapy for her mental health concerns. We have explored the option of using an app called Headspace. This young adult currently has no income and cannot afford the cost of the app. We are asking for a one-year subscription for her at the cost of $70.00. Client struggles to find employment due to her mental health and does not want to take medication but would rather try a more natural approach. The free portion of the app is great, but we are looking for more in-depth meditation and mindfulness sessions that come with the purchase of the yearly subscription. Client's current psychologist supports the use of this app as a tool to help her achieve mental health wellness.
