What caused this need?

Dad was working two jobs, but got sick and could not work for a few weeks. He is working one job currently and is able to afford the rent going forward, but owes $2200 or face eviction on Thursday. This is the 2 months' back rent and fees. We are working toward connecting him with a housing subsidy, but will not complete that process before his court date on 9/15/16. This is very short notice, but we connected with the client at yesterday's Project Community Connect. If you are able to assist please contact me. The client was previously homeless with his family and wants to maintain his housing after successfully finding work and securing stable housing.
