In need of a membership to the YMCA for a single mother of four (ages 10, 5, 2, 1). Her oldest son has been diagnosed as obese and the YMCA would be a great place for him to participate in activities. This family has a lot of struggles in their life currently. The one consistent thing is that this mother takes her children places and tries to keep them active and busy. Currently, this mother is working with Scott County on establishing stability in her life through housing and gaining other resources to make her family successful. Her children have been through a lot with regards to moving often and not knowing if they can afford the "fun things" at certain times.
