Car repairs and Behind on Bills

73 year old woman was referred to Coordinated Response by the Savage Police Department because she was driving with a tire completely off the rim of her vehicle. An officer assisted her getting back home. Her vehicle remains inoperable at this time. This is a significant barrier to meeting her daily needs. For example, this created barriers to getting a cashiers check at a bank to pay rent. Prior to this above situation occurring, she had unplanned medical expenses that accumulated and put her behind on other bills. Coordinated Response is a crisis program that partners Human Services with law enforcement. This individual is grateful that the officer referred her to this program so she is able to get assistance with her significant financial stress that impacts her overall mental health and well being.
