By servicing more than 30 families experiencing homelessness in the Scott and Ca

We are seeking a new/used refrigerator to help create a comfortable, welcoming environment at our Families Moving Forward (FMF) program center. The FMF program provides overnight shelter at partner congregations for families experiencing homelessness. The families spend their days at our program center doing laundry, taking showers, and working with a family advocate to seek housing and jobs.

What caused this need?

By servicing more than 30 families experiencing homelessness in the Scott and Carver Counties our current refrigerator stop working. The refrigerator allows the families to utilize it during the day for a variety of reasons, to include storing medication and food provided by partnering congregations. The goal of the Families Moving Forward Program is to move families to stable housing as quickly as possible and address the issues that led to homelessness.
