Bigger vehicle needed!
Maternal aunt has taken on the immense responsibility of caring for her six nieces and nephews (along with her biological children- 3 of the 6 that live in the home) after a CPS reports led to her becoming their legal guardian. This has been a challenging and rewarding journey for her, but there is one major barrier we are hoping to overcome: transportation. As you can imagine, with this many children in her care, getting everyone to appointments, school, groceries, and other necessities is difficult with the current vehicle. The family cannot all travel together, and this limits their ability to access essential services and opportunities. A larger vehicle would make a world of difference in providing the children with more stability, better access to opportunities, and the ability to function as a cohesive family unit. We are reaching out to ask for donations to help fund a larger vehicle that can safely accommodate the family. Any contribution—no matter how big or small—would have a direct and meaningful impact on the daily lives of the children.
