Beds Needed for Family Transitioning into Housing
A family of three is exiting homelessness and has recently been accepted into housing. The household includes one parent who is disabled and a teenage child who is tall, making a twin bed not a suitable option. They are in need of larger-sized beds to ensure both comfort and proper rest as they settle into their new home. Based on current pricing at Walmart, the cost for a bed frame, mattress, and a “bed-in-a-box” (including sheets and a comforter) is approximately $300 per person, totaling $600 for this need.$600.00 of $600.00
