Assistance Needed for Children’s Birthday Gifts
I am submitting this request on behalf of a parent we support who is receiving CADI Waiver services and living on a very limited income. Due to her disability and restricted budget, her monthly funds are used almost entirely for essential needs, leaving little available for anything beyond basic expenses. With two of her children celebrating birthdays soon—turning 1 and 8—she is unable to afford even small gifts for them and is hoping for assistance to make their birthdays special. Her 8‑year‑old son is bright, imaginative, and especially fond of Spider‑Man. A small Spider‑Man–themed LEGO set has been identified as a meaningful and affordable gift that would bring him a great deal of joy. Her 1‑year‑old daughter enjoys soft, comforting toys. A plush toy has been selected, along with a gentle baby‑wipe warmer to help meet her sensory and temperature‑sensitivity needs. Any support offered would make a significant difference for this family and help ensure these children feel celebrated on their birthdays.
