What caused this need?

A single mother of two kids has recently came out of a domestic violence relationship. This mother is hoping to spend some one on one time with her six year old and do some fun activities. This mother has been really busy working and focusing on herself and would like to put something on the calendar that is fun for her and her children. Any help towards this need would be great.
