What caused this need?
1) Family of 4 was homeless during summer of 2013 when they relocated to Scott County in order to find housing. Mom's only source of income is her through her own disability status. Children have multiple diagnoses including physical and mental health. Past trauma and mental health challenegs have hindered the mother from maintaining employment although she continues to work at a temp agency until she can locate stable employment. Many services have been brought into this family to help them learn the skills to be able to remain together, but the mother is having a hard time keeping appointments due to the extra gas the appointments require. If anyone can help with gas cards to assist this family...any amount would be very helpful! 2) The family truck has already had major repairs and mom is close to paying off the loans she took to pay for them. She believes the truck has more repairs needed but is unsure what they may be, how to prioritize them and how much they will cost to fix. Any guidance she can receive in determining this would be greatly appreciated as this truck is their only source of transportation.
