Fostering Hope

YOU’RE INVITED.

Need: In Scott County there is an acute lack of foster homes. A long list of unplaced foster kids requires a solution.

The Ask: Find foster homes within each faith community or support homes that are able to provide foster care.

Presenters will be:

• Pastor Dan Poffenberger | Lead Pastor from SOLLC. Dan will focus on housing insecurity and the SOLO Project Partnership with Scott County.
• Sam Ouk | Director of Equity and Inclusion for Prior Lake Schools. Sam will focus on the challenges students are experiencing.
• Gretchen Young | Scott County Health & Human Services Licensing Unit Supervisor. She will focus on Foster Care and Mental Health needs.
• Christine Erickson | Sr. Director of Children-At-Risk Ministries and Oneless at Grace Church. Christine will provide a  boots-on-the-ground perspective about children  without a home.
