Single Mother Recovering from Surgery
I am working with a single mother with two young children who just had carpal tunnel surgery on her right hand and will be having surgery on her left hand in August. Because of this she will not be able to return to work until the end of September. She is facing shortfalls in paying her bills for the next month while she waits for the application process to go through for medical leave. Her primary need is with paying her monthly rent and car insurance for the next month: Car insurance: $147. Half rent payment: $800.
