Single Mom Lost Her Car this Mother’s Day

Six months ago, she and her 5-year-old were living in a truck. Today, she’s working 20 hours a week through our program, showing up consistently, rebuilding her life, and her child is finally thriving with stable school attendance and routine. She was just $300 behind on her vehicle payment — the final payment before the car would have been fully paid off and completely hers. This morning, on Mother’s Day, the vehicle was repossessed. Now she needs: * $300 to finish the payment * $300 repo fee $600 total gets her car back — and the vehicle becomes fully owned. For a mom working hard to rebuild after homelessness, losing transportation can unravel everything quickly: * getting to work * getting her child to school * stability * momentum * hope
