Seeking an Electric Razor to Support Dignity and Care
Ed is an 80‑year‑old resident in assisted living who depends entirely on staff for assistance with daily personal care. He does not have family members available to help support him with these needs, making the care he receives especially meaningful. At this time, he is unable to maintain his shaving routine due to not having access to an electric razor. Because he cannot complete this task independently, something as simple as regular shaving becomes a challenge—but it is also something that greatly affects how he feels about himself. An electric razor would allow staff to safely and gently assist him, helping him feel clean, comfortable, and dignified. This small but essential item would make a big difference in his daily life, supporting both his health and his sense of self, and reminding him that he is cared for and not forgotten.
