Collections Fee
A 69 year old woman has lived in Belle Plaine for over 32 years. In November 2025, she was displaced from her home as the residence is no longer habitable due to damage from previous floods and no heat. She has been residing in a hotel and working on an alternate housing plan. She can move to an apartment in Belle Plaine, however she has a past due fee that has now been sent to collections. The fee has to due with trees falling on her power line a few years ago and she was unable to call to contact the communications agency about the issue; meanwhile kept getting charged for the phone service.$0.00 of $465.38
