Women and children who have experienced domestic violence in the past year often

Toys and gift cards are being collected for Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women's annual Gifts of Hope program. Toys for all ages like blocks, culturally diverse dolls, bath toys, building toys, arts & craft sets, electronic games, sport equipment & apparel, jewelry, DVD's etc. can be dropped off at bins located at Shakopee City Hall, Shakopee Community Center, Shakopee Police Department and Shakopee Library on or before 12/14/15. Gift cards also make great gifts for teens and moms!

What caused this need?

Women and children who have experienced domestic violence in the past year often still struggle with the financial and emotional impact. This gift program is a wonderful way to help Scott and Carver County families have hope for their future.
