She has a special needs Downs syndrome daughter (12), a 9-yr-old in the after sc
UPDATE: STILL NEEDED - $4000 - Any amount appreciated! - to cover back-owed child care. Found out very belatedly that for about 9 months the county child care assistance money did not cover the entire child care cost. (didn't realize that would happen when day care provider exceeded the allowable amount for child care assistance.) Currently has found newer, very affordable child care, but has to pay back to her former daycare provider the difference that accrued beyond what Child Care assistance gave her. She & her fiance both work, & are trying to make ends meet.$0.00 of $0.00

What caused this need?
She has a special needs Downs syndrome daughter (12), a 9-yr-old in the after school program, & a 1 1/2 year old who was at this Daycare. There were issues when she changed from one in-home day care provider that closed, to the only other one she could find that worked with their needs, AND when her county child care worker changed. Had difficulty understanding all the ramifications of this childcare assistance when paired with her chosen day care provider, & didn't realize that all along this new day care provider was out of her range to actually be able to afford, above & beyond the child care assistance. The Daycare provider did not bring the problem to her attention until May, when they worked out a payment plan that she was still unable to meet. She feels that now that she understands the system better & has found a better day care provider, with help she could get back on her feet.
