What caused this need?
I am working with a single mother who recently had extreme health issues that caused her to be hospitalized for the entire month of October. With this hospitalization, she remains out of work and the family is beginning to struggle financially. The mother and her 11 year old daughter have had small support from grandma while being hospitalized. I would like to provide some assistance through gift cards that would allow the family to purchase toiletries, food, and other needed/wanted items to help reduce the financial stress in the home.
