Update: Mechanic will weld the car frame, but the car needs other work and parts total $675. Any amount towards this would be appreciated. I work with an adult with Moderate Mental Retardation. He lives with his guardian and cousin in Prior Lake. The family purchased a vehicle that runs very well, but they recently found out that the frame is not welded properly. The guardian made sure to get the engine checked out before she purchased the car, but the frame was not inspected. The person who sold the vehicle to her is not responding to any contacts and therefore she is is struggling to gather enough money to fix the frame.
